❔ What is Regenerative Medicine?
While the human body comes equipped with its own mechanisms for repairing damaged muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments and nerves, innate healing factors can fall short. Regenerative Medicine seeks to tap into the body’s healing mechanisms, and significantly enhance their performance. This is achieved by stimulating the type of biochemical reactions that promote and accelerate the renewal of human cells, leading to the restoration of one’s normal function.
❔ How does Shockwave Therapy work?
Performed by trained Medical Professionals, specialist equipment is used to transmit a series of sound waves to the injured body part. These trigger a positive healing response, one that helps to eliminate pain and promote healing at the cellular level.

✨ Benefits of Shockwave Therapy:
✅ Rapid Pain Relief:
This is successfully achieved by targeting pain at its very source.
✅ Accelerated Healing:
Shockwave Therapy significantly accelerates tissue repair and remodelling (something that is particularly beneficial for Athletes / Active Individuals who want to return to action as soon as they can).
✅ Improved Mobility & Function:
By reducing pain and inflammation in the affected area, patients can move more freely and comfortably, something that allows them to enjoy a greater quality of life.
✅ Long-Lasting Results:
This advanced treatment type not only provides immediate pain relief but promotes long-term healing (thereby reducing / eliminating the need for ongoing treatment / surgery).
✅ Non-Invasive Treatment:
The procedure requires no incisions, injections or anaesthesia (which prevents the risk of complications / eliminates the need for lengthy recovery periods).
✅ Safe:
Shockwave is a well-tolerated treatment, with minimal side effects (while some may experience mild discomfort or redness in the treated area, these symptoms typically resolve very quickly).

⬇️ What to Expect:
Available at no additional cost as part of our multi-dimensional 40-minute Appointments…
…a typical Gold Standard Shockwave Treatment Session lasts between 10 and 20 minutes (such depending upon your injury type).
After topical gel is applied to one’s skin by one of our specially trained Physios, a CE-certified Medical Device delivers acoustic waves via a hand-held “transducer” to the targeted area. HD Ultrasound Technology is used in tandem to deliver the treatment with pinpoint precision.
Many patients report significant pain reduction after a single treatment session while current studies show as few as three sessions for acute conditions / four for chronic ones can deliver very significant clinical benefit*.
